Do I need to make a reservation?

Yes, our photo studio is by appointment only.

How far in advance should I book?

We may be able to make an appointment even one or two weeks in advance, but it is easier to make an appointment if you contact us as soon as possible.

How can I make an appointment?

Please contact us using the inquiry form. Our staff will contact you to confirm your reservation.

What should I tell you when I make a reservation?

It will be easier if you let us know your name, desired shooting date and time, whether your family members will be wearing kimono, and need hair set and makeup. If you are coming from overseas, please also let us know how long you will be in Japan.

Can I change or cancel the shooting date?

It is possible, but we ask that you contact us as soon as possible.

Can I still shoot if I am late for my reserved shooting time?

It may be difficult to take pictures depending on the reservations of other customers. Please contact the store as soon as possible.

I don't understand Japanese, is that OK?

Please rest assured. We will guide you through the tour, utilizing a translator so that you can enjoy Japanese kimonos and photography.

How long will it take on the day of the event?

It takes 90 minutes for hair set, make-up, and dressing, 45 minutes for photographing one outfit, and 15-45 minutes for selecting photos. Please confirm details at the time of booking.

Do you offer location shooting or travel to shrines and other locations?

Shooting location is in the store's studio only. We do not offer on-site shooting.

Is there a limit to the number of poses?

There is no limit as long as it is within the time frame. If you have a desired pose, please contact the photographer.

How do you select the photos?

After the photo shoot, you can choose from a dedicated computer in the store.

How long does it take from the time of shooting to the time I receive my order?

Please allow 6 weeks from the time of order to the time of shipment.
